OUR SERVICES

Speech-Language Therapy

Speech-Language Therapy (sometimes called Speech Therapy) is the treatment that improves communication skills. It includes remediation of mispronounced speech sounds, spoken, as well as remediation of spoken and written language disorders.

Academic Therapy

Our educational therapists offer children and adults with learning differences and disabilities a range of intensive interventions and strategies to remediate learning challenges by implementing an individualized plane for highlighting clients' strengths.

 We offer classroom observations, assistance with  IEPs and accommodation plans (504), and student/client advocacy.

About Us

Elizabeth H. Abney, M.C.D., CCC-SLP

Beth Abney is an ASHA certified and licensed academic and educational therapist with over 30 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology and over 20 years of working with students  with learning differences and disabilities.  She ​received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master’s in Communication Disorders from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. Beth possesses a license in Speech-Language Pathology from the state of Louisiana, as well as the state of  California, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. She was awarded the Emma LeDew Award for most outstanding therapist. Beth is married with two daughters, one of whom has a speech-language delay. She says she loves being an advocate for students and clients with disabilities.

About Us

Ashley Boudreaux is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with 5 years of experience working with children from ages 2 to 18 years old. Ashley holds a license with the Louisiana Board Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA) and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She received her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders at Nicholls State University in 2015 and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge in 2017. 
Ashley has experience in providing both individual and group therapy services in early intervention, pediatric outpatient, and the school system. Ashley has experience working with children with articulation/phonology difficulties, language and literacy difficulties, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and with those who utilize AAC devices. 
Ashley enjoys spending time with her long time boyfriend, Matthew, and her bonus daughter, Naomi, doing most anything that requires being outside and doing some serious play! Ashley has always loved to help others and is so glad she’s found herself using these abilities to help children of all ages. She’s eager to continue to expand her knowledge as a speech pathologist to best serve students in our area.
