They have extensive experience in administering academic assessments, developing intervention plans, and implementing strategies to addresses challenges with reading, writing, spelling, math organization, and study skill.
How Does It Work?
Educational Therapy is a broader approach to tutoring and is based on scientific research that aids each child specifically in developing their set of learning skills. Educational therapy helps them to think differently, and helps them to develop understanding of concepts and skills learned in the classroom. Educational Therapy hones in basic and complex concepts and procedures that cause to the child to begin to fall behind. Throughout the student's treatment plan, we also record data to ensure the student is progressing and, if not, determine the reason why to make necessary adjustments.
The Process
Step 1 - We take a concept or procedure that a student may not have understood, and reteach and revisit that concept to examine it more closely.
Step 2 - We analyze and determine where the breakdown in understanding the concept has occurred.
Step 3 - We develop a therapy plan for the student that aids in the relearning and reviewing of the concept, or finding another way to learn it.
